Broad-Server provides the very high work-station performance needs for broadcast applications in post-production, production tasks and systems infra-structure. These systems have high power Nvidia CUDA & graphics as standard. Featuring an 8” colour touch-screen so that operators can easily access set-up and monitor system activity or even control apps.
Cel-Soft's new range of rack-mount PCs called Broad-server promise very high peformance with totally reliable operation. They can handle many hundreds of gigaflops. These units are specifically aimed at the very high performance needs of broadcast applications in post-production, production and systems infra-structure. Based on six, eight or more cores Intel i7® or Xeon® processors, a Cel-Soft Broad-server is configured with Nvidia graphics for sheer brute GPU performance as so many apps now use CUDA. There are display outputs for at least 3 hi-res screens and internally there are plenty of available slots for capture cards for video input and output as required. All the usual interfaces are there, packaged in a solid rack-mount system.
The front panel of a Broad-server can come with 8” colour LCD touch-screen so that engineering staff can easily access set-up and monitoring facilities and generally keep an eye on system activity. The special Cel-Soft CSAM facilty allows all running apps and physical parameters to be viewed. The built-in screen can also be used as the main user interface for a Broad-server in a stand-alone application.
